Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Seeen is built by NEWHMN Ltd. We take the privacy of your family seriously - especially when it involves children. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. What we collect
When you use Seeen, we collect:
- Your information: name, email address, and any referral source
- Your child's information: first name, date of birth, time and place of birth, behavioural observations, neurodiversity notes, and any other details you choose to share
- Usage data: which features you use, chat messages, and feature interest signals
- Waitlist data: email, children's names and ages, and feature preferences
2. Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- Generate personality profiles for your children
- Power the conversational advisor (chat)
- Improve the accuracy and depth of our profiling
- Communicate with you about your account, access, and product updates
- Understand which features matter most to parents (aggregate analytics only)
3. AI processing
Seeen uses AI to generate profiles and chat responses. The information you provide about your child is processed by trusted AI providers under contract terms that prohibit them from training their models on your data. Responses are generated and returned to you. We do not allow your child's data to be used to train AI models.
4. Data storage
Your data is stored securely using reputable cloud infrastructure providers and your browser's local storage. Profile data is synced across your devices when you log in with the same email address. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your children's information to anyone. We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate Seeen, limited to the categories below:
- AI processing providers: for profile generation and chat responses
- Cloud infrastructure providers: for data storage and server-side processing
- Hosting providers: for serving the Seeen website and app
Each is bound by their own privacy and security commitments. We will name specific providers on request.
6. Children's privacy
We are particularly careful with children's data. We only collect information about children that parents voluntarily provide. Children do not create accounts or interact with Seeen directly. All data about children is provided by and controlled by their parent or guardian.
7. Your rights
You can:
- Access all data we hold about you and your children at any time through the app
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
- Export your children's profiles by sharing or copying them from the app
- Correct any information by editing your child's details in the app
8. Cookies and local storage
Seeen uses your browser's local storage to save your login session and child data locally for offline access. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts that track you across the web.
9. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove all your data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data (e.g., "how many users are interested in feature X") may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to individuals.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Seeen evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
